Catherine Haycock awarded a lifetime membership to the NDFC
Catherine Haycock of Darts Ontario has been awarded an NDFC lifetime membership. This prestigious award was presented to Catherine in recognition of her contributions nationally and provincially, to the sport of darts over the past 15 years.
Catherine has managed Ontario's Adult program since 1992 and the program has flourished under her leadership. As well as overseeing the 16 provincial zones and the Provincial Championships, she also serves as Ontario's team manager at the National Championships.
At the national level, Catherine has worked with the PDC to attain invitations for Canadian players to events such as the Ladbrokes World Championships, The Grand Slam of Darts, and the Las Vegas Desert Classic.
Catherine has also been a feature writer with the Bulls Eye News since 1995 launching the NDFC Newsline, published interviews of our players, and reported on Canadian events.
Among her achievements, Catherine has been an official caller for many staged finals and has commentated dart events for TV.
In 2006, Catherine received a lifetime membership from Darts Ontario and in 2001 was awarded 'Behind the Sceenes Promoter' in the USA Darts Hall of Fame.
